BillYield() function

BillYield(argument list…)

This function returns the money market yield of a discount money market security such as a Treasury bill given price. The function uses the following arguments:

Argument Description Restrictions
Settlement_Date bill settlement date valid Excel date number
Maturity_Date bill maturity date valid Excel date number
>= Settlement_Date
Price bill price per $100 face value > 0
Year_Basis days per year for calculations 360 or 365
