System Requirements

To operate the CurveTrader™ add-in, you need Microsoft Windows 3.x, Windows 95/98, or Windows NT, and Excel 4.0, 5.0, 7.0 or 8.0 (we recommend 5.0, 7.0, or 8.0). The add-in requires less than 3 MB of hard disk space for the add-in, on-line help and sample spreadsheets.

A computer with an Intel 486DX-33 processor or better with a math coprocessor is required. We recommend a Pentium with a minimum of 16 MB of RAM. By default, the software is optimized for the Pentium processor. For HW-Trader™, more RAM is recommended in order that large trinomial lattices can be built entirely in RAM, without swapping to disk (i.e. using virtual memory slows down calculations). 32 MB or even 64 MB of RAM provides optimal performance (and given the price of RAM these days, is no longer very expensive).
